Description

The HbbTV-standard for SmartTVs offers enormous potential for new programme offers. Why not offer web content, additional live  streams or 360° content on the TV screen?

MPAT gives editors exactly the tool they need to achieve this: the Multi Platform Application Toolkit uses a web interface to enable the creation of easy, economical and quick apps for SmartTV. A library of templates and a selection of existing modules are provided to support professional users.

The tool is available under a GPLv2 software license. Project partners Fraunhofer FOKUS, Institut für Rundfunktechnik and Fincons SPA offer MPAT as SaaS.
